“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech, but with actions and in truth.” 3:18
There are lots of truths to claim in these chapters, but this one really jumped out to me. It’s so easy to apply, yet so so hard. Right?
Here are some ways I’m hoping I can apply this to my life this week:
-Love my children by spending time with them and engaging on their level.
-Map out where to give away more money to remind myself I’m not enslaved by it and as a tangible act that I trust God with my finances.
-Pray with someone instead of extending a simple “I’ll pray for you”.
What about you? Which part of today’s readings struck a chord? What feels like a tangible task to take on?
